A rating is a prediction

Most homes are sold on a number calculated before anything exists. It describes a house on paper, built perfectly, by people who never make mistakes. Useful for compliance. Not proof.

What we actually measure

A blower door pressurises the finished house and measures how much air is leaking through the shell. A thermal camera shows where heat is escaping and where insulation has been missed or crushed. Both happen on the real building, not the drawing.

You get the results either way

If the house is performing, you have evidence. If it is not, you hear it from us first, while there is still time to do something about it. That is the whole reason we test.
